San Fermín 2022 back to real life

After a two-year of painful silence, finally the San Fermín festival made its triumphant return! The streets of Pamplona once again erupted with the thunder of hooves and the roar of the crowd. Here below the highlights of this year bullrun.

* July 7th: The first run of the festival was a fast and complicated one, featuring bulls from the Núñez del Cuvillo ranch. A pile-up of runners at the entrance to the bullring caused some chaos. There were no gorings, but six people required medical attention for injuries including a broken arm and a severed finger. The run lasted 2 minutes and 35 seconds.

* July 8th: The second day was a much more dangerous and tense affair. The Cebada Gago bulls are known for their ferocity, and one of them became separated from the pack, creating moments of high tension in the streets. This run was significantly longer, clocking in at 5 minutes and 22 seconds.

* July 14th: The final run of the year featured the legendary Miura bulls. True to their reputation for being noble and predictable, they ran a very fast and
clean course in 2 minutes and 16 seconds, the second fastest of the festival. There were no gorings, and only two runners sustained arm bruises.
